Responsibilities and Duties
- – Take patients back to exam rooms
- – Obtain patient vital signs, medical history, and prepare patient charts within EMR
- – Administer adult and adolescent immunizations and other injections as needed
- – Stay in room with provider during patient visits and assist with chart completion
- – Retrieve medical records from hospitals and Specialist offices as necessary
- – Assist with non-invasive procedures at the direction of the provider
- – Schedule follow-up appointments for patient once visit is completed
- – Call patients to inform about lab results and any other follow-up that is required
- – Contact specialist offices and other facilities as needed
- – Contact vendors to order medical equipment
- – Contact pharmacies to order and refill prescriptions
- – Assist with answering the phone, scheduling patients, and other duties as needed
- – Work referrals, prior authorizations, and orders as needed

We are seeking an entry-level Accounting Clerk for a growing healthcare company in New Braunfels, TX.
Responsibilities
- – Managing accounts payable/receivable, preparing checks, cash receipts, general journal entries and related expenditure vouchers.
- – Creating and receiving purchase orders in SAGE accounting system
- – Receiving cash and credit card receipts and maintaining cash control records.
- – Preparing deposits and bank reconciliations; and other duties as appropriate for an Accountant I.
- – Ensure work is completed accurately and timely.
- – Collecting, posting and managing account payments, and submitting claims and following up with insurance companies.
